Pesatnya penetrasi internet di Indonesia telah mengubah gaya hidup, terutama di kalangan generasi muda yang menjadikan media digital sebagai sarana utama untuk informasi dan interaksi sosial. Namun, tingginya intensitas penggunaan ini tidak selalu diimbangi dengan pemahaman yang memadai mengenai etika berinternet (netiket) dan pentingnya menjaga privasi data pribadi. Menghadapi tantangan ini di lingkungan SMA Negeri 6 Kota Jambi, di mana siswa/i merupakan pengguna aktif media digital, ditemukan adanya kerentanan terhadap risiko penyalahgunaan data dan pelanggaran etika digital. Sebagai respons, dilaksanakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berupa "Workshop Literasi dan Privasi Media Digital". Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa/i mengenai pentingnya netiket, cara melindungi data pribadi dari ancaman siber, serta implikasi hukum yang relevan seperti yang diatur dalam UU ITE dan UU PDP. Melalui workshop ini, diharapkan siswa/i SMA Negeri 6 Kota Jambi dapat menjadi warga digital yang lebih cerdas, bertanggung jawab, dan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi secara positif dan aman.
