Submission

Process of Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts must be original works, free from plagiarism, and must not contain any form of data fabrication or manipulation. Submitted papers are evaluated based on their originality, novelty, scientific contribution, and quality of presentation. Each manuscript undergoes a peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers. The review process generally takes approximately 4–5 weeks for each reviewer. Authors will be informed of the review results as soon as the evaluation process is completed. JAKAKOM implements a blind peer-review policy to ensure an objective, fair, and unbiased assessment of all submitted manuscripts.

Publication Frequency

JAKAKOM is published twice a year, in April and September. The following are the important publication schedules and deadlines.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to all published articles based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and contributes to the advancement of science and technology.

Retraction (Erratum/Corrigendum)

Articles that have been published in JAKAKOM may be retracted or withdrawn from publication if any of the following conditions are identified:

  • There is reliable and verifiable evidence that the findings reported in the article are unreliable due to errors in the research process, including data collection, processing, analysis, or interpretation, or as a result of research misconduct.
  • The article has been previously published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission, or adequate justification, resulting in duplicate or redundant publication.
  • The article is found to contain plagiarism.
  • The article presents unethical research or violates accepted research ethics standards.
  • The retraction process adopted by JAKAKOM follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which are available at: https://publicationethics.org/files/retraction%20guidelines.pdf.

 

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The Jurnal JAKAKOM charges the following author fees:

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Article Publication: 350,000.00 (IDR)

Penalty Fee
The penalty fee will be charged 900,000.00 (IDR) to authors who decide to retract or withdraw articles after articles are accepted or published. This is because the authors do not respect the whole process that has been done.
