Analisis Performa Orbital Angular Momentum-Index Modulation Komunikasi Jarak Dekat 6G Waveform

Saat ini, komunikasi nirkabel sedang bermigrasi dari 5G ke 6G. Hal ini berlangsung dikarenakan penerapan baru dari teknologi Sensory Transmission, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), dan Digital Twin. Masalah yang muncul dari penerapan migrasi ini adalah batasan pita yang diacu pada peraturan diatas, reliable link range atau berapa jarak bahwa komunikasi berhasil dilakukan, dan peningkatan jumlah pengguna yang akan dilayani.
Penelitian ini menggunakan hasil performa Orbital Angular Momentum-Index Modulation (OAM-IM) yang dibandingkan dengan Orthogonal Frequency Division (OFDM) untuk komunikasi jarak dekat untuk tiap Bit Error Rate (BER) pada jarak yang telah disebutkan pada gambaran umum. Metode OAM-IM dapat menghasilkan nilai BER yang lebih rendah dibanding dengan metode OFDM melalui analisis statistik deskriptif.
Hasil simulasi dijabarkan dalam bentuk tabel dan bagan dan dibandingkan BER dari kedua metode tersebut yang lebih rendah. Rata-rata BER OFDM adalah 0.486818 sedangkan BER yang lebih rendah tercatat pada metode OAM-IM sebesar 0.314013 untuk simulasi yang diajukan.
