Plagiarism

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarity in content. Editors have been detecting plagiarism in articles submitted to this Journal Processor using the Grammarly Plagiarism Checker (www.grammarly.com) and iThenticate (www.turnitin.com) software since June 2020. The maximum plagiarism threshold, according to the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RISTEKNIKTI) regulations, is 25%.

Definition

Plagiarism is an intentional or unintentional act of quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific work of another party that has been recognized as scientific work without properly and accurately citing the source.

Therefore,:

Articles must be original, unpublished, and not currently awaiting publication in another journal. Material taken verbally from other sources must be clearly identified, as this will result in a manuscript that differs from the original text.

If plagiarism is identified, the editor-in-chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will take action based on the level of plagiarism detected, using the following guidelines:

Level of Plagiarism

Type 1: Plagiarizing a short sentence from another article without citing the source.

Type 1 Action: The author is given a warning and advised to modify the text and cite it correctly.

Type 2: Plagiarizing a large portion of an article from another source without proper citation and without citing the source.

Type 2 Action: The article submitted by the author will be rejected for publication in the Processor Journal, and the author may also be subject to sanctions, including being barred from further publication in this Processor Journal.

All authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit to the Processor Journal. If an article submitted by an author falls into the category of plagiarism, all authors of that article will receive the same action.

If an author is found to have submitted a manuscript to both the Processor Journal and another journal simultaneously, and this overlap is discovered during the review process or after publication, action will be taken in accordance with type 2.

If plagiarism is found outside the above provisions, the editor reserves the right to impose sanctions in accordance with the Processor Journal editorial team's policies.
