Manuscript Template

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must comply with the following requirements:
  1. Manuscripts may be written in either English.
  2. Submitted manuscripts must be original works and must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  3. The journal accepts manuscripts in the form of research articles, policy papers, conceptual and theoretical reviews, book reviews, and other scholarly works related to the fields of Information Technology and Information Systems.
  4. Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are required to log in before submitting their manuscripts. Detailed submission instructions can be found in the Online Submission section. Registration and manuscript submission are free of charge.
  5. Manuscripts should be between 6 and 10 A4 pages (210 × 297 mm), including figures and tables, and must not contain appendices. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) and formatted according to the journal template. Page margins should be set as follows: top 3 cm, left 3 cm, right 2 cm, and bottom 1.5 cm.
  6. The manuscript title must be provided in Indonesian, while the Abstract and Keywords must be presented in both Indonesian and English.
  7. The title should not exceed 14 words and must be formatted using Times New Roman, 15 pt, bold, single-spaced, centered, with 12 pt spacing after the title. The Editorial Board reserves the right to modify excessively long titles without altering their meaning and without prior author approval during the production process.
  8. Authors are encouraged to use proper and standardized Indonesian language conventions when writing the title. Any English terms appearing in the title should be italicized.
  9. Author names should be formatted in Times New Roman, 10 pt. Multiple authors should be separated by commas and identified using superscript numerals corresponding to their institutional affiliations (e.g., ¹, ², ³).
  10. Each author’s institutional affiliation, address, postal code, and email address must be provided and formatted using Times New Roman, 9 pt.
  11. The manuscript must begin with an Abstract. Abstracts must not contain figures or tables and should be justified, single-spaced, and written in Times New Roman, 9 pt. Abstracts must be provided in both English and Indonesian, with a maximum length of 250 words. The abstract should clearly summarize the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.
  12. Keywords should consist of four to eight terms, separated by commas, justified, written in Times New Roman, 9 pt, and single-spaced. Keywords should be carefully selected to accurately reflect the content of the manuscript and improve its discoverability.
  13. The main text must be written in a single-column format, fully justified, using Times New Roman, 10 pt, with single line spacing. Margins should be set as follows: top 3 cm, bottom 1.75 cm, left 3 cm, and right 2 cm.
  14. The manuscript should contain the following major sections: (1) Introduction, (2) Research Methodology, (3) Results and Discussion, (4) Conclusion An Acknowledgments section may be included after the Conclusion. The References section must appear at the end of the manuscript.
  15. Section headings should be structured using a maximum of three hierarchical levels: Level 1 Heading. Level 1 headings should be formatted in small capitals (small caps), aligned to the left margin, and numbered using uppercase Roman numerals. The headings Acknowledgments and References should not be numbered. Example: I. INTRODUCTION.
  16. Level 2 Heading. Level 2 headings should be left-aligned and numbered using uppercase alphabetic letters. Example: A. Research Design.
  17. Level 3 Heading. Level 3 headings should be indented, italicized, and numbered using Arabic numerals followed by a closing parenthesis. The heading must end with a colon (:), and the text should continue immediately after the heading on the same line within the same paragraph. Example: 1) Data Collection: The data were collected from multiple sources to support the research objectives.
  18. Figures and tables must be centered within the page. Large figures and tables may span the full page width when necessary. Any figure or table exceeding the width of a single column should be placed at the top or bottom of the page. Color figures are permitted.
  19. Figures must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals. Figure captions should be written in Times New Roman, 10 pt. Single-line captions should be centered, whereas multi-line captions should be fully justified. Captions must be placed below the corresponding figure.
  20. Mathematical equations must be clearly presented, numbered consecutively, and accompanied by all necessary explanatory information.
  21. Page numbers, headers, and footers should not be included in the manuscript. All hyperlinks and bookmarks will be removed during the publication process. If references to email addresses or URLs are necessary, the complete address must be typed using standard font formatting.
  22. Citations and references must follow the IEEE referencing style (see the JMS template available on the journal website).
  23. In-text citations should be numbered sequentially using the IEEE format, such as [1], [2], [3], ..., and authors are encouraged to use Mendeley or other compatible reference management software.
  24. References from Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non-scholarly websites are not acceptable.
  25. At least 80% of the references should consist of primary sources (journals, conference proceedings, and other research publications) published within the last five years, while the remaining 20% may consist of supporting sources (books and other scholarly references) published within the last ten years. Each manuscript must include a minimum of 17 references.
