The Editorial Board of Jumanage wishes to announce a significant update to our editorial policy and submission guidelines.

Starting from Volume 6, Issue 1 (Year 2027), Jumanage will exclusively accept, review, and publish manuscripts written in academic English. This strategic transition is part of our ongoing commitment to expanding the journal's international readership, fostering global scholarly dialogue, and enhancing the visibility and citation impact of our authors' research.

To ensure a smooth transition, please take note of the following important information regarding this new policy:

  • Implementation Timeline: All manuscripts submitted with the intention of being published in Volume 6, Issue 1 (2027) and all subsequent issues must be written entirely in English.

  • Desk Rejection Policy: Once this policy takes effect, any new manuscript submitted in a language other than English will be automatically returned to the author without undergoing the peer-review process.

  • Language Quality Expectations: Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions meet high standards of academic English formatting, grammar, and clarity. We strongly encourage non-native English speakers to utilize professional language editing or proofreading services prior to submission to avoid delays in the review process.

  • Previous Volumes: This policy does not retroactively affect manuscripts that have already been accepted or published in previous volumes.
